- Required time in previous grade:
- Three months as a PFC
- Citizenship
- Memorize all versions of National Anthem.
- Leadership
- General Orders.
- Rank Structure for enlisted and officers.
- Memorize the fourteen Leadership Traits.
- Physical Fitness
- Pass PFT with a score of 200 or more.
- School
- Have good marks in effort and conduct.
- Home and Outside Activities
- Be honest, respectful and obedient to parents and elders.
- Personal Habits:
- Shine own shoes, hang up, otherwise put away clothing.
- Close order drill:
- Execute all movements without arms in a precise manner.
- Other subjects:
- Pass standardized promotion exam with a score of 70% or better.
