i was a member of the first recruit class of the western new york young marines it was the greatest time of my life i made it to the rank of lance corpral but after high school i went a diff direction and joined the army. i will always rememeber my time as a young marine oohrah!!

I am a Lance Corporal in the Young Marines. I attend the Miami Valley Young Marines unit every Wednesday. I love the YM and the things we do. I think it's awesome and inspiring.

In my life and my whole time I have been here in this program, I am happy to call myself a young marine who has earned her rank in this program. Even though I am a female, I should still be respected and given a chance like any males in the program. We have all earned our ranks, and we would like to be respect like everyone else. Young MArines will keep prospirng and growing.
