The Pennsylvania Regiment held its first regimental encampment this summer, attracting 200 Young Marines from five of the state's seven units. The Young Marines of Lancaster marched off with the first-ever Walter Roach Drill Team Trophy. The award is named for the for- mer commanding officer of the Pennsylvania Regiment and of the Bux Mont unit, who died earlier this year. The Young Marines of Penndelphia captured a two-foot-high trophy by beating out the other units in baseball.
